Catador is a cigar review site built for people who smoke cigars — not for people who sell them.
Every review on this site is based on a real smoke. No sponsored content, no paid placements, no affiliate links disguised as recommendations. Just honest takes on construction, draw, burn, and flavor — from first third to final third. We’ll also offer our take on the world’s best cigar shops and lounges.
We’re interested in everything from the cheap cigars to the exorbitant sticks most people only dream about. And we’ll review them all. Check out our take on the White Owl Ranger — the first cigar our editor ever smoked (age 17 at Lanes ‘n’ Games in Cambridge, MA). Interested in getting your product reviewed? Reach out, and let us know what you have in mind.
We rate cigars on a simple 100-point scale. You can read exactly how that works on our Ratings Explained page. If a cigar is great, we’ll tell you. If it’s overpriced, we’ll tell you that too.
Be cool. Smoke cigars.
